May 22/23

Skating was a big success - the weather was perfect for skating, just a bit strange to remember to pack a coat and pants on such a hot day.  Thanks so much to all the parents that drove, helped out with skates and skating!

Div. 11 Scientists have gone very well this week!  Kayden’s Dancing Raisins, Selena’s CD Balloon hover, Zack’s was testing which liquids would expand the most when frozen, and August’s cool experiment where he divided hydrogen and oxygen.  Please have your children tell you about these experiments and what they observed and learned. Looking forward to the scientists next week!

Important Reminders:

Spelling - your child will be writing the last half of their review list in their planners on Tuesday. Please be practising these words and the phonetic patterns they've been learning. If the lesson isn’t completed they will bring it home on Wednesday.  We will be done spelling on Friday.

Memory Book $10.00  please pay online or send in cash as soon as possible.

Hopefully everyone received the information and recipes for our Class Cookbook and can send these in before June 8th.

We have a bowling field trip on Wednesday, June 14th in the afternoon.  Parent drivers are needed, please sign up on the parent portal.
