A big thank you to all the parents who helped out for our field trip to Save On Foods.  The students did a great job of using the maps and for their participation during the dietician's informative presentation.  I think the parents would agree we all learned new things about nutrition and the importance of trying new foods multiple times.  All the students brought home a copy of the most updated Canada food guide.

Scientist of the Day information came home on Thursday.  Please read carefully and mark your child's date on your calendars.  If the date you have been given doesn't work for you please let me know.

Spelling next week is another review so we will be completing this over 2 weeks. Your child will only be copying half of the words and won't be bringing home unfinished work until the following week.  These lessons are very challenging so it is really important that you are practising these patterns and rules as much as possible over the next two weeks.  The quiz will be on Friday, May 19th.
