Dissecting Owl Pellets on Thursday was a huge success. All the students were so excited and engaged!
We measured and described the pellets before we started dissecting! Many thought they were gross/dirty. |
Now they are loving it and not wanting to stop! |
These two scientists found the first skull! |
These owls were eating beetles, we found several wings! |
It has been a busy week, every child has been working on writing and illustrating.their owl book. Hopefully these will be finished next week and can be shared during Family Reading on Friday. We have made a little booklet for our owl pellets which we'll also finish next week. With our big buddies we have been working on our 'We Have A Dream' project.
