December 9/22

The Christmas Concert was a big success as I'm sure you'd all agree.  It is great to once again celebrate these special events in public,  we are so fortunate to have Dr. Saul and such an amazing music program at Fairview!

Thanks to everyone who donated toys or money for our Christmas toy drive.  Div. 11 and Div. 3 did a great job of promoting this special fundraiser.  This afternoon our math lesson was sorting and counting all the money donations.  The students sorted, counted and even learned how to fill out a deposit sheet including cheques.  We made $760.00 in cash donations.  Wow, Fairview did prove that Little People Can Make a Big Difference!

We have been busy with our special Christmas crafts.  They seem pretty excited about each of the stations.

Spirit Week is coming up next week...

Tuesday, Dec. 13 - Christmas/Holiday Sock Day

Wednesday, Dec. 14 - Ugly Sweater/Holiday Shirt Day

Thursday, Dec. 15 - Career Day (Dress as what you want to be when you grow up)

Also Friday is our Classroom Celebration - Thanks to the following students you are providing the snacks/goodies for our party.          Viktor - Fruit Tray/ Kaylee - Veggie Plate/Blakely - Sweet Treats/.  Lilah - Chips/Popcorn or Pretzels/    Eva - Other

**Driver's Abstracts, Div. 11 I looked into this and only has 5 people have filled out driver's abstract forms and we definitely will need more for future field trips.  If you need forms please let me know.     When you do complete them you will need to show the office (Mrs. Bruce) your driver's license and confirmation of your insurance.  it is the part on the form that says Office Use Only.  Thanks for your support with this.   I have a field trip planned to Garibaldi High School for Jan. 25th.
